: Hey Vampyr, I think your the first person, other than my circle, that have anything detremental to say about Palmer's 3-way. I have a friend that ended up spending about $80 (through Palmer) total trying to get their Quick leaker to work, which never happened. Long live ANS.

: Razor

: : just playing with it, does the rod go one way on the pull and the other way on the release? There are two ways to fix this problem... The quick fix and the right way.
: : The quick fix is to put a small o-ring on the left side of the timing rod to keep it from shifting to the right. Just slide it in far enough to keep the timing rod from going far enough to the right to leak.
: : The correct fix is to remove the timming rod and roll it on a flat surface. If there is any bow, remove it with a hammer. Next check that the bend in it is 90 degrees. Check against something solid and square. If it is not perfect, give it a whack and get it perfect.

: : Some x-ways are very touchy about side loading. I've had to put set screws in both sides of the collar to keep things aligned well enough to keep it from leaking.

: : All of this is for naught if you happen to have a Palmers quick leak. You're better off getting an x-way that is not so finnicky.

: : : Depeneds on what kind of 4-way you have..... I'm presuming its stock, so they 4-way shaft is bent, or the timing rod (the rod you were talking about) is off. What is happening is the o-rings on the 4-way shaft aren't sitting right. You might want to remove the timing rod from the 4-way shaft, and spin it a bit to see if it is bent. If its a really small leak a drop of oil through the 4-way could fix it, I'd try that first.

: : : Pat

: : : : when i gas my cocker up, the front block leaks untill i press the trigger rod towards the gun...and whenver i pull the trigger, the rod moves back to where it was, making air leak. anyone know what could be wrong? thanks.
