: : I just installed a new KAPP reflex frame, and 3 way. I've never worked on my gun except pulling the bolt to clean it. I got it timed in about 15 minutes (read Ravis page), and felt pretty good about it. Unfortunatly I still have a problem. If I let the trigger snap back it shoots fine, but if I ease it back slowly, it won't fire on the next pull. It recocks fine, but it won't shoot. I've got a few ideas, but want some more learned opinions before I get myself in over my head. Thanks

: The slow release of the trigger allows the pressure to slowly escape from the ram allowing the back block to move forward before the sear is high enough to catch the lug. You can lengthen your timing rod slightly to provide more time for the sear to rise before the x-way is activated. You can also try lowering your lug a little. Anyway, you can leave it as it is and make sure your release is quick. There's a price you pay for that very short trigger pull.

: Rick
