Does the RAT valve need a longer valve spring?

Hey! I have a cocker which the valve in there seems to need a longer spring cuz it doesn't seat the valve when at full extension. (There is play between the poppet and the spring.)

I compared this valve to the stock valve and it looks like the "spring seat" is like .5 cm closer to the seal than the stock valve!

I used the longest maddmad spring and its too short!

Does anyone else have this experience wit the RAT valve? What kind of product is this??
