I have both and it really depends on where I am playing and what paint I am using. If I am using Zap paint, I use my Boomstick and it shoots nice and acurate. If I am using Inferno or Hollywoodsports house paint, I use my Freak with the .683 insert and it shoots rather nice. But I must say I lean more towards the Freak as it makes for more barrel/paint combos than a single barrel does. The only advantage the Boomstick has over the freak is the price. My 12in boomstick was 99 and my Total Freak was 225.
