F-5 cocking problem

I have a problem with my f-5. If it is cocked it will fire, then the back block moves back like it should. Now it should move forward and be ready for the next shot but it doesn't. Instead it moves forward a little bit then moves back and closes again. This causes two balls to be loaded. Any suggestions>?
