Stock Valve Flow

Hey guyz, how good of a air flow rate can the stock valve on an 02 cocker produce. Can I go ahead and change springs to lower my inline pressure? Or am I forced to get a new valve. I know I can get better valves with higher flow rates, but I just wanna know If I can Keep the stock in for a while? Thanks in advance
