Just E mail me. I run a 98.

With few exceptions, all the parts fit 98 -2003.

97 was the old frame and had compatibility problems 97 and earlier. You serial number could confirm the date.

They came with a METAL grip as I recal. Just get a Besales Sear (no copycat) and a spring set. You will be Soooo happy with the $60 you spent.
