The curse of autocockers is that the detent is BEHIND the ball with the bolt is closed.

Not a problem until your favorite paint that just hammered people all summer starts to roll out the barrel in the winter.

Fate would dictate that you discover this when you try to be a nice guy and bunker a guy with one shot and he turns and fires on you.

You have this real confused look on your face to discover he isn't wearing your color and you KNOW you had him.

Many paint manufacturers make their paint a smaller diameter in the winter to allow some blowby to reduce cold weather barrel breaks.

If you play tournaments, scenerio games, or travel to commercial fields that force you to use THEIR paint brand of the day, you would be happy with purchasing the Freak System.

If you have a favorite paint, call the manufacturer and ask if they change their diameter winter or summer as well as other methods used by manufacturers to reduce ball breaks in the cold. That might help you decide which way to go.

If you get the Boomstick remember they come with two pieces and the unported section is available in different diameters. Order the size you need and remember you might wind up buying another unported section of a different size down the road. By then, you are real close to what you spend for the Freak.
