: Mini cockers and full sized have different numbering.
: full rectangle back block and no hole... I think they added the hole for the '97 model year (maybe '98 I know the '98s have them and the '96 doesn't), And I know the '97 had the cut back block. '97 was also the first year of the composite gripframe. but I though the '96 was still the gloss finish...

: : i have a mini cocker and the number on it is like 2995 or something like that...its only 4 digits. anyway...everyone ive talked to believes its about a 96. so yours is newer than that.
