VALVE IS VERY BAD ON AIR?

HI, I baught a rocket valve a while ago and just recently put it in. It is very inefficient.How do I get it to run at low pressures, and save me air not take away air? Is there sight that goes into detail. Or someone on here who put the same valve into there gun and could tell me what they did exactly to get maximum performance?
This will be the most help i would have ever gotten of of here if i do get it. I appreciate the future follow ups from anyone.
