I bought a works from a guy and I took it apart to clean/inspect it. I can't get the valve jam nut back in. I checked the threads in the body and they aren't stripped. Does works use their own size nuts?

To clarify, this jam nut definately does not fit. When I took it out of the gun i noticed it wasn't seated against the valve. I have tried two jam nuts and neither will thread into the body. I'm not a cocker newb, i've been using them a long time. The threads don't look stripped so either i'm crazy or the jam nuts just don't fit.

I emailed works so hopefully they'll shed some light on this. I'll probably end up shipping them the gun in case there's something terribly wrong.

So if someone out there knows something I don't please let me know... i'm going nuts over here. I just wanna play with my new toy. :)
