In addition, a good paint to barrel match will improve efficiency. Also, make sure the o-rings on your bolt are in good shape. Efficiency comes down to not wasting air. So, you don't want to be using any more air than you need to get your paintball up to speed. If air is escaping around your bolt then all your air is not being directed where it's needed. The same goes for a loose paint to barrel match (air escaping around the ball). Sweetspotting will make sure your valve isn't staying open longer than needed (more air released than needed) and will also allow you lower your lp setting a bit (using a little less air per cock) my .02
