As far as the effect on the operation of the pneumatics, I think we're saying the same thing. Typically, guns set up for efficient low pressure operation will be set up with a light hammer spring. That's one of the keys (possibly the most important factor) to lower pneumatic pressure.

: ...doing so (sweet spotting) will drop your pressure in itself. Low pressure will be quieter, and gentler on the paint. I don't see what effect low pressure has the operation of the pneumatics, can you be specific BBHostess? ...
