Speaking from experience here, you will most definitely have timing issues, but if you are halfway competent with a wrench and have at least half a tank of air, this shouldn't be a problem. The only thing you should have to mess with is the hammer lug and the three way, both of which aren't that hard to get close to right in time. Check out Vantrepe's page for where they should be and how to adjust them, his is the page I used when I did my install.
