changing my mind about operating PSI

Right now Im running 250psi for 290fps with a rat3 yellow/green nelsons. My gas use is about 100 rounds for 300 psi of compressed air. Not too bad on paper, but in reality as the PSI in the bottle drops, I think the efficiency drops as well.
Now very few of us really ever bother to do a true shot count, like count your paint then run the bottle dry and recount the paint. We all extrapolate or guesstimate.

I'm going to try going back to 375psi and see if I can't stay away from the fill station more often.
I really have come to believe that shooting LP isn't worth thetime in the air lines.
Anyone with real specs?
