: the only thing i can think of is take a pair of needle nose vice grips and clamp down on the rod. that should get it out for you. now to keep the back piece from coming lose again...you need to set it just exactly where it needs to me, then loctite it in place. hope this helps : adam ok i'll try it, hopefully it works thx skunker
