Copy and Paste to this website:

http://www.cockerownersgroup.com/howitworks.html

Lots of info there including an animated picture of the autococker's internals working.

The plumbing on the front recocks the marker.

The 3 way is the switch attached to the trigger.

The ram provides the mechanical force to recock the hammer spring and bolt.

The front regulator steps the operating pressure from the 450-500 psi main inline regulator even more. Its output is down to the 70-120 psi range. Otherwise you blow the hoses off and the ram has so much force it would beat your marker apart.

Timing is everything. You can't have the bolt opening while the marker is firing. Etc.

Getting it to all work at the right time is the science and sometimes "art form" that is much cussed and discussed.

You have the RIGHT IDEA. Once you understand HOW it works you can fix it much more easily than random trial and error adjustments.
