first of all no question is a stupid question... timing is how all the components of the gun work together in order to cause the gun to fire. All the functioning parts such as the 3 way, rod and coupler, secondary reg, trigger, lug, cocking rod, etc. Timing is too complicated to explain really, especially over the internet. I couldn't begin to explain it really cause there's several things that can cause a gun to be out of time. Glad i could help...
