I highly recommend the Freak system. It has the greatest range of all the barrels or systems and has the most inserts (8) the other comparable systems have only 5 at most, some even less. I've had mine close to 2 years I think, right after they first came out, it says smart parts on the back end instead of Freak and the cyclops guy and without all the jewely/bubble stickers. I haven't had any damage to the sleeves, don't drop em on concrete or other similarly hard surface, don't play catch with you buddies with them and they'll be fine. I do however really like the look of the Pipe front end, I think Doc's can mill to fit a Freak back, that would be nice. Hope it helps. Razor : I have an '02 stock cocker and I am thinking about buying a barrel kit but don't know too much about the different ones available. The main ones I am considering are the Freak, the PowerLyte Scepter, and the Pipe. I am considering others but I couldn't think of all the ones available. I have heard that the freak is sometimes fragile and gets messed up easily, I have also heard the pipe had some front/back threading issues. So far I haven't heard anything bad about the scepter. Any information about these or other systems would be a big help. : Some info on the what I play would be that I play a good amount of large number scenario games, with a tourney thrown in here and there just for fun. When I am not playing these I play at local fields or on my own. The problem is every one of these uses different paint.
