My 98 with a LP valve runs 300 psi out of an 18" barrel.

You can add volume between the valve and Main Regulator for about $5 if you need it. Remove the front block plug and insert a short 3" tube and a cap.

Not pretty but a lot cheaper than the alternative just to see if you get some improvement in performance before you spend the $$$$$$.
