Very interesting theory. But, I guess I'm stubborn. I like my freak. It was way better then my janj ceramic. I also did notice an efficiency change when I changed inserts. The larger I got, the less efficiency I got. I also notice an increase in ball breakage the smaller I got. I think it helps. I don't think that .001 difference will matter because just blowing a paintball through an insert proves that they variate quite a bit. However, I think the closer you can get the better. It may not be better, but when I can take a set of premiums and run it through the .684 insert and get 2 fps variance, then use the .689 with the same paint and gas, and get more like 10 fps, that is proof enough for me.

I'm very interested to see what you find out, but I have already proved it tomyself that it works.
