Yup, it just regulates the pressure to the ram, unscrew (back it out) until the gun will not recock. Then slowly turn it in until the gun will cock reliably every time, then give it another 1/8 to 1/4 turn to be on the safe side. This will reduce your chops if you short stroke. Hope it helps.

: : What is the advantage to having an adjustable front reg? What does it adjust? Just the ram operating pressure? I have a tickler, but I am not sure what it does, or where to set it... Any information is appreciated!
