Will a pre 2K Lug Work On a 03 Body?

My friend has a 97 right feed cocker and he is concidering buying a new 03 vert feed body. He has just recently put a great deal of new parts on this older cocker and he will just want to switch them over to a new body. There was a new valve put in it about a month ago, a shocktech Rat and he was wondering if this valve and the valve retainer lug will fit in a new 2k+ body?
