Where is it written you have to adjust the setting with it gassed up and those O rings binding under pressure. Hard on O rings.

Did you put some oil lube in the ASA when you installed it? Many regs are DRY when assembled and need some lube to work trouble free.

The setting of the main inline reg should have NO DIRECT EFFECT on whether or not the 3 way hoses leak!

First, the pressure in the hoses and 3 way is determined by the front reg setting. Changing the main inline reg pressure will not affect the output of the front reg.

If your 3 way is out of time, it could be hissing too but you did say 'hoses' were leaking?

Got a guage on it so you can see what your pressure actually is? If not, that would be nice to have.

A $15 1" Diameter MINI guage will screw right into the front block plug hole with no interference problems. Put a $2 90 degree elbow on first and you can read the guage from the side.
