Open bolt? Are you crazy? It's a pump! It most definately is not an open bolt!

About the detent, my gun happens to be too old to have a detent, it even has the velocity adjuster on the bolt! I actually looked in to getting a detent for it, hoping that would solve the problem, but since I am not the original owner of it, and don't have the manual, I probably wouldn't be able to get one from Tippmann (and I'm not sure if it would fit my dinosaur of a gun anyway).

Oh well, I have an autococker now.
