I think the new cockers are being shipped with a 2 piece barrel, don't think it's the Kaner though. It should be a decent barrel, just try and get a good fit with the paint you buy. If your looking to upgrade, which I recommend, you can't go wrong with any choice from Smart Parts, the Freak in particular. You can get a front, back and one sleeve for less than a boom stick, and get the sleeve set later about $90 with case, or pay about $180 for the whole set at once. Hope it helps. Razor : certainly didnt want to get turds involved----just like i said, the cocker is en route to me, and i have heard some say the stock barrel is great, and some say upgrade---and i havent been able to get a decent answer from most as to what make the stock barrel is. one of my buds said he thought it was a j&j 2 piece, but i dont know : i just want to have an idea on whether this stock barrell would be good enough for a while or not is all
: : Razor : : : Not saying anything is wrong with the stock...but in reviews and conversations, I have not gotten a good idea of the quality of the stock outkast barrell---pretty much every review i have seen, except one or two, says "upgrade the barrell" : : : so i was basically trying to figure out a) if it is really bad and b)if it is, whats a moderate step up. : : : and for what its worth, i know the longer barrells are preferred by the sniper types, and i have leaned toward 14 inchers....is the 14 inch better than say a 10 inch? what are the pros and cons? : : : : : : You on the Quest for Accuracy? : : : : What paint are you shooting? A Freak system won't make field paint shoot like Marbs...
