I've heard of the AKALMP models running as low as 180 psi quite well. But like he said, at 150 he can't "rip" on it or else starve the gun, doesn't sound worth it if you cant get on the trigger. The finger trick can be accomplished with any reg, stock included, it just takes a bit longer to adjust, and like Dale said, once it's set you never mess with it unless you go changing stuff, and then is just takes another 5 minutes to accomplish, rather than the 1 minute if it's externally adjustable. I would imagine he's using the Tornado valve to get such low pressures. Boycott Palmer!! Hope it helps.
