Here's my suggestions for upgrading on a budget:
Watch e-bay (or similar sites), you can pick-up a 2k or newer set of pnues for cheap. The newer stock WGP x-ways are pretty decent! As Vamp suggested get a threaded timing rod. Also pick up one of the newer gripframes, not for the frame but the internals! Again, the 2k & newer is pretty decent and people dump it for cheap! The reason U want the gripframe internals is mainly for the "hole" trigger plate. With the 2k x-way, threaded timing rod & hole plate you'll have a nice short trigger pull!:) And because everyone seems to think they need a hinge nice 45 sliders are easy to find..... and yes, CHEAP.
The stock WGP reg kicks @ss, high flo and rarely needs attention...... set it & forget it!!
As for bolts, unless you're going LP the stock bolt rocks. In fact I tested the AKA Lightning bolt, SuperFly & the stock bolt. The AKA was the top performer followed by the STOCK BOLT, the SuperFly finished 3rd. The stock bolt shot aprox 8-11fps higher than the SF using the same psi input.
Barrels.... LapCos Auto Spirit & Big Shot will allow you to shoot just about any paint made. And they're priced fair (around 35-40 bux).
Basicly try to get the most out of the $$ you can afford to spend.
