They don't truely lock it down. They are just a nylon grub screw to keep it from vibrating out. you can still remove it with a wrench, just like you can still adjust the sear... (If it truely locked, you wouldn't be able to put the hammer in, the sear slot is not extended all the way to the rear.)

: With the new hammers with the set screw that is designed to lock down on the cocking rod to prevent the rod from loosening how do you remove the rod when you want it out?
