You should probably get nitrogen as soon as possible. It will add consistancy and will be the best thing for your gun. The 3way controls the air flow to the pneumatics(the front part of the gun) i wouldn't bother with it. I like the 3way on my 02. I would put a new barrel on it as soon as possible.
