So you can make sure you aren't going over 300 fps. Otherwise I wouldn't adjust the velocity at all.


You unscrew and remove the cocking rod.

Then you insert an correct fitting 3/16" ? allen wrench into the hole. Clockwise increases velocity. Counterclockwise decreases velocity.


TIP:

When you reinsert the cocking rod turn in COUNTERCLOCK WISE until you feel the thread on the cocking rod drop into hole. Just a little dip at the tread drops over the top thread in the hammers. All by feel. Then gently turn clockwise. It should go in EASILY. It should NEVER START HARD. If it does, go counterclockwise again to find the first thread. NEVER force it or use a tool.

They have a bad habit of getting started crossthreaded and then you have to buy either a replacement hammer or cocking rod OR BOTH.

I am unfamiliar with that grip. Sorry.
