Good idea to replace the barrel...that's probably the best 'performance' upgrade you can make.

For the most part replacing parts on a 2K3 cocker will not noticably improve performance. The stock parts are all excellent. As far as the reg goes, the main difference is that your ANS reg is externally adjustable (a 'convenience' upgrade). That's also the only improvement you'll get if you replace the LP reg, so that is also a 'convenience' upgrade rather than a performance upgrade. Another convenience upgrade is the Belsales Rex hammer kit (http://www.compulsivepaintball.com/product.asp?0=236&1=246&3=45). It allows you to adjust velocity without removing the cocking rod.

Cockers are really less complex than they appear at first glance ;) I'm guessing that after playing with the cocker a few times, it will be promoted from 'backup' to 'primary'! Enjoy it :)
