: I remeber reading something that said something about people timing there autococker i think. i was just wondering what is timing the autococker and what does it do? For an autococker to fire properly there are a series of 'events' that need to take place in a particular order in the gun. Timing is simply making adjustments to one or more of these 'events' so the gun fires more smoothly, consistantly and reliably. There are many sites with detailed instructions on how to time a cocker. Anyone with a little mechanical aptitude can learn to easily and quickly make some/all of these adjustments :)
