Yes, Scuba Tanks make excellent 3000 psi fill stations. Portable too.

Great for Tank Air Supplys for the cannon and machine guns.

Not so portable but still doable is your standard 4500 psi Nitro Tank from your local welding supplier. SAME place your local shop/field uses.

If you are only filling a 4500 psi paintball tank, you don't need a regulator on it. Just a straight fill. About $50.

They usually require a REFUNDABLE Deposit for the tank OR have a Lease/Purchase program where you wind up Owning the tank.

Remember you have to RECERT any supply tank you OWN too. The Deposit Tanks are usually exchanged so you don't have to worry about recerting the tanks. Ditto if you exchange tanks that you paid to own...

Insurance Requirements for most fields and games forbid bringing your own air. They can't have a tank falling over and turning into a rocket in the staging area. That would include scubas.

Most don't enforce the regs or don't 'notice' you discreetly refilling tanks out of the back of a car, pickup, or van. Secure the tanks properly for transport and handling. Don't rub their noses in it unless you ask first.
