: i need to know asap if u can change a cocker from side feed to vertical feed, or do u have to change the whole body to do it?????

Though it can be done, it is probably cheaper to buy the body. A basic hack smith will try to grind the rh off, redrill to a vert, tig the feed in and fill it, but it is better to mill the front off, and put a block in , align it and weld the whole block in, then in either case clean up the body and re anno it. This is massively labor intensive, and has to be done well to make it worth while. Check www.G3PB.com for a body, it will probably be cheaper, and not dependant on how well they aligned it and the quality of the fill job.
