NEED HELP WITH DEAD ANGEL

 I have a 2000 LCD Angel that I just pulled out of the closet. The battery is dead and after I charged it, it is asking for the PIN number. I have never had a PIN number. This happend last year as well and it cost me $80.00 to send it off and have it fixed. Anyone know what is up with the PIN number?
