for about $500 you should get an Impulse. I don't own one but I have shot one. They are pretty fast and from what I can see well made. If $500 is for your total gun (tank, hopper) then maybe something a little cheaper like the ICD BKO? If your really serious about tournament then you are just better off saving longer and getting a nicer gun... thats what I am having to do. I haven't decided between the Intimidator and the Orracle E-blade. Both very nice... Hope this helps you out some.
