Choosing the right paintgun isn't easy.  It's more than a matter of finding the
"best" paintgun, but rather finding the paintgun that is best for you.

Compatibility families listed for paintguns do not assure parts compatibility
between paintguns, though many parts will often be interchangeable.  If you can
not find a FAQ or repair guide for a specific model of paintgun, check the model listed in the compatibility family, as a large amount of the information will be applicable due to similarity of design.

Automag RT
The first paintgun with a Reactive Trigger, the Automag RT uses an AIR valve which recharges much faster than the original AIR valve, and responds with double the trigger pull weight when the RT fires, enabling the user to pull the trigger faster.  The RT valve, grip rail, and grip frame are not cross-compatible with other Automag models.  The Automag RT has been replaced by the RT Pro.  RT valving technology is available as an upgrade for other Automag models in the form of the Retro Valve kit.

RT Pro
What happens if you put a Retro Valve upgrade into a mag body, rail and grip frame, and add a vertical foregrip and sight rail?  You get the RT Pro.  The RT Pro is the modern replacement for the RT, and is available in both centerfeed and powerfeed bodies, at a lower cost than the original RT.
