This came up in Doc Nickle's tech forum not long ago and I think someone made a great point. If guns were allowed to fire FA, people wouldn't feel the NEED to have the insanely super-light triggers that they now have. Then when your friend brushes up against the gun, it doesn't fire at all. One accident becomes no accident.

Forget about having to make an effort to keep the gun firing. Let's go back to guns that took some effort to BEGIN firing. I think we would all be a lot safer.
