Finished the firing mechanism for the AT4 Sunday morning and took a couple of vortexes, sabots, and 1 foam missle to the new PB field (Splater Zone ) that opened this weekend in Albany . Everyone had a blast trying it out and seeing what it could do . 250 plus feet straight up and 180 plus yards horizontily on 60psi and a 28 inch barrel . I was allowed to use it in a game with the understanding no close shots got one player at 50 yards with 6 of 18 (the other balls broke on the plywood he was using for cover , perfect tank kill)unfotunatly none hit a hard surface and bounced . At 60 yards I and several other players could consistently put a vortex between 2 posts 3 feet apart most well to center . The efficency is up as well 40 plus shots on 24 ounces instead of 24 to 26 with my airpg
The AT4 is an inline front loading launcher consisting of a 11x4 (138 ci) inch fire extinguisher for the pressure tank , a brass 3/4 inch solenoid valve , and a primary 2x28 sched40 barrel . A 4 inch sched10 sleeve gives the appearance of a continious 4 inch tube 42 inches long that with a little cosmetic work should look pretty close to the actual AT4 (the M136 not the newer Dragon) which is a little over 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 40 inches long .
