I am trying to end up with something that might (I'll admit at a distance in bad light)look like a real AT-4 LAW . I can probably reduce the weight by about a pound by removing the explosion proof housing from the solenoid coil . About 2 to 3 pounds are cosmetics . The big advantage to the outer 4 inch sleeve I'm using to achieve the AT-4 look is that I can interchange barrels for different ammo requirements instead of 1 barrel I will have the advantage of being able to choose from 1 1/4 , 1 1/2 , 2 sched80 rifled , 2 sched40 smooth , and 2 1/2 (tennis anyone ? ) . I can even install longer (standard is 28 inches) barrels for longer range (up to the allowed velocity of course) . The accuracy with nerf vortexes is amazing to say the least , at work we have been shooting a sign next door that is a bit smaller than the HellFire tank at 90 + yards and even in gusting wind is fun to hear the thump of the nerf bouncing off it .
