If you were to make a clay or plywood mold for something what kind of release agent would you use? Is there any uber cheap mehiod like silicone spray (Tried wax paper, works OK but not great) or are there certain brands that work well and are fairly cheap?

For example, If I want to make a rough fiberglass copy of a Ar-15 handguard, what release agent would keep it from sticking assuming Im only making it one sidd.
