Comp air kit for m98c?

I have an m98c with palmers stabilizer reg, dye 12" stainless barrel, Empire reloader, and 20oz co2 tank.
I am wondering if I spend the 120 some dollars on a compressed air conversion kit would it be possible to basically just drop it in to what I have now.
I play rec once every 2-4 months. I have a fairly accurate market setup right now when the paint is friendly, but I want to know if compressed air would make it significantly better.
What are advantages?
Disadvantages?
