The pressure of the rock reg wouldn't cause the gun to jam. But, I do know that mine, and many others regs are set low enough to cock the gun, and not chop a ball. In fact, today I went ape marshmallow with my finger in the bore and it didn't hurt me any. The problem I for see is, yes, the pressure it too high, but you go the wrong reason. I bet half the time my bolt stops on the paintball, not chop it. Right symptom, wrong problem though. Jamming is natural, tight fitting bolt.
