: The pressure of the rock reg wouldn't cause the gun to jam. But, I do know that mine, and many others regs are set low enough to cock the gun, and not chop a ball. In fact, today I went ape marshmallow with my finger in the bore and it didn't hurt me any. The problem I for see is, yes, the pressure it too high, but you go the wrong reason. I bet half the time my bolt stops on the paintball, not chop it. Right symptom, wrong problem though. Jamming is natural, tight fitting bolt. The jamming of a bolt after a ball break is caused by a small chip of paintball shell lodging between the bolt and the inside of the chamber.
If you are breking balls on a cocker, the front reg pressure is set too high or your guns firing pressure is set too high. check front reg pressure by removing cocking rod and cycling the bolt by pulling the trigger, with the bolt on resting forward position, try pulling the back block back if you can't pull it back, your front reg pressure is too high. Turn the lug or adjuster of the front reg counter clockwise to reduce the pressure if you are using a rock/microrock reg.
