No, I wouldn't suggest it, but here is a trick you can pull off till you replace it. Take a tank oring and put it int he bottom of the asa, right up against the back around the hole and pin. This will help you keep a seal whiel you back it out. Back it out a little till you think the vavle is closed, and fire off the last bit of co2. Not a suggested way, but for only a few uses, should get you buy no problem with no damage. If it doesn'tw ork with one, and you have to blow off the co2, try 2 orings instead of one.
