Advances in technology. Electropnumatics offer a superior rate of fire relative to their mechanical cousins, plus they offer high tech features like game timers, anti-chop eyes etc.

Mags and cockers are still great guns, and while cockers are still plentiful in the tourney sceen mags are less common (except perhaps the e-mag).

: Hey people. I've been out of the game for two years now. I used to play 3-5 man speedball tounraments when everyone used Rts and Cockers. Very few had Angels. What the hell happened?? Dosen't any pro team use mags anymore? I've watched the lastest vides on PigTv and everyone has a cocker or some electric gun. What happened?
