Well, a GOOD back gun has many attributes. High ROF, good accuracy and consistancy, and a stable firing platform. The only thing to cause a huge difference in distance is the flatline. So, good consistancy is a requirement so you can punch is up to 295+ fps and not have to worry about hot gun. I have personally enjoyed My impulse, i'm fairly accurate with it and can dump paint when needed. HOwever, more stabil platforms exist. Shockers are larger and heavier, electro cockers, even wgp makes one now! Angels have a really good firing base. I would try to recommend something closed bolt, but that is my personal taste. I like the stability of a closed bolt when I'm going for accuracy. Plus, Evil is coming out with a new closed bolt electro called the omen. Do your best to fire all of the above and others, and consider keeping your own. My bro is a back player, uses and orracle, does quite well. Try some out and see what you like.
