Accuracy and distance have nothing to do with the gun. Accuracy, as has been proven over and over, is a product of your paint and your barrel, as well as the shooter being able to actually point the gun in the right direction. Distance is simple physics: ball mass, aerodynamics, gravity, velocity, air resistance. A ball shot at 300 fps from a Cocker will go the same distance as a ball shot at 300 fps from an A-5, barring the use of the Flatline barrel. Reliability from either one should be good, unless you start messing around with them. The Cocker is easier to mess up if you tinker without knowing what you're doing. What is should come down to is feel, and personal preferance. If your A-5 works well for you, feels good shooting it, and puts paint through the barrel fairly reliably, it's a good gun. If you don't like how it feels, well, maybe it's not right for you. This is pretty much the best argument for getting a bunch of hands-on time with a gun BEFORE you buy it!
