if someone would like to tell you that all guns shoot the same .....maybe you should take it with a little, teeensy grain of salt. had alley cat and fancy spiders etc, ALWAYS bit the bullet and got good barrels -lapco, etc. i DID NOT WANT TO DROP 600$ ON A GUN!!! i smoked lots of guys w/their fancy guns, played intermediate level ball with spider on c02!!!(was only one i think!) but, i got hold of a cocker that my friend let me use and it happened to have a good barrel match to mine. i put 9/10 balls through a small crack. had spider for awhile, it NEVER did that! which meant that cocker had a longer USABLE range. so if someone tells you that it's only the barrel that makes accuracy, tell them i said bull.
: Reliability from either one should be good, unless you start messing around with them. The Cocker is easier to mess up if you tinker without knowing what you're doing. : What is should come down to is feel, and personal preferance. If your A-5 works well for you, feels good shooting it, and puts paint through the barrel fairly reliably, it's a good gun. If you don't like how it feels, well, maybe it's not right for you. This is pretty much the best argument for getting a bunch of hands-on time with a gun BEFORE you buy it! : Ben Kohnen, Limited Pump Paintball
